The Sandown Dental Practice on the Isle of Wight, was established in the mid 1980’s initially as a single handed practice. The building now houses five surgeries and a purpose built Decontamination and Sterilisation Room.
The four dentists are supported by a dedicated team of dental hygienists, a dental therapist, registered dental nurses, receptionists and a management team.
The Sandown Dental Practice has been accredited with Denplan Excel status for the last 8 years. This means all aspects of clinical governance, including, cross infection control measures are rigorously monitored and inspected for your peace of mind.
Our philosophy is firmly based on prevention; establishing and maintaining healthy gums is our main priority and we will therefore recommend regular visits to our hygienists who not only treat acute or chronic gum problems but also provide the all important routine maintenance.
At your examination your dentist will explain all available options and costs of any possible treatment enabling you to make an informed decision on how to proceed. We want you to have a healthy mouth with the smile you deserve.
We have one dedicated parking space for our disabled patients, with wheelchair access to downstairs surgeries. A short walk away there is parking available at the Heights Leisure Centre.
We want your visit to us to be a positive experience, but if you have any concerns regarding any aspect of your care or treatment, please ask to speak to a member of our management team who will be happy to help. We are always glad to receive feedback from our patients so please feel free to leave us a few comments.
I can smile with complete confidence! I can’t now imagine ever being concerned about appearing in photos. It’s just been a new lease of life. Thank you.
